Spring Bee Pickup Updates
Pre-Orders for Package Bees will be on sale over Black Friday/Cyber Monday weekend 2026. Regular orders will open in January of 2027. Queen Bees can be pre-ordered from Jan-May, and will be shipping every week from May-August 2027. Nucs will be available at scheduled pickup times in May of 2027. Package Bees will be available at our three Handout Dates in April and May of 2027.

Queen Bee Shipping Schedule
Queen Bee Pre-Orders will open in January of 2027. Shipping will begin May of 2027. For further details email sales@hansenhoneyfarm.com
Spring Pre-Order Schedule: When pre-ordering you will be required to select a ship date, or select the ASAP shipping option. If ASAP is selected, you will be notified via email in May when orders are beginning to ship. If another ship date is selected, you will receive tracking info via email on the selected date, and your queen will arrive next day.
Summer Queen Shipping Schedule: All Queens will ship UPS Next Day Air, or UPS Ground in WI or MN. We ship every week Mon-Thurs. You will be required to select a ship date when you add Queens to your cart. Queens will be delivered next day.
Queen Pickup In-Store: Queens are always available in-store during business hours but we cannot guarantee Queen Type, Marking, or Clipping unless you call ahead or place a website order. Please call one day in advance or place an In-Store Pickup order if you want to pick up a specific queen type, or if you would like marking or clipping.
If you decide to purchase a Queen Bee in-store without calling first for availability, we cannot guarantee that we will have your preferred queen type available

Nucleus Colonies
Nuc Orders will open in January 2027
When you add your Nuc to your cart, you will be asked to select a ship date, or the ASAP option. If you select ASAP, you will receive an email and text message in May with information for scheduling your pickup. If a different date is selected, please mark your calendar, as you may not receive a reminder. If you arrive outside of your predetermined pickup time, we cannot guarantee that your Nuc will be ready. Please email sales@hansenhoneyfarm.com or call (715) 369-0383 with scheduling questions.

*Our pickup hours reflect our best estimate of the time that it takes the truck to make the trip. Weather, road conditions, and loading the truck in California can all contribute to delays or changes in pickup times. We do our best to estimate hours, but timing is always subject to change. Misjudging the arrival of the truck and people showing up early has created dangerous parking situations at our location in the past, so we appreciate your patience in waiting until pickup hours have been finalized*
