Description
These legs simultaneously solve two problems: Elevate the hive from the ground level, facilitating the beekeeper’s work, and providing protection from crawling bugs, as they cannot enter the hive. To repel pests like ants, you can add repellant fluid (like oil or grease) in the special tray. Any pests trying to cross will be trapped in place. The Hive Legs are designed to snap together; thus, you can add as many as necessary to adjust the desired height. The legs can be perfectly combined with the ANEL Big Guy Pollen Trap to protect your collected pollen from unwanted visitors.
For use with ANEL Bottom Board: To fasten the Hive Legs on an ANEL bottom board, you must first unscrew the bottom board bases (feet) and then snap in place. The bases snap very easily on the bottom of the feet.
For use with Wood Bottom Board: To fasten legs on wooden bottom boards or brood chambers, use screws that are 1cm longer compared to the wood. You will need 4 screws for each leg.
Pack of 4.
